Meet Hall Staff
Amanda Bell
Rector
Amanda Bell is from Chandler, AZ. She graduated from Notre Dame in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, and lived in McGlinn during her time at Notre Dame. She earned her Master of Arts degree also in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She then spent almost 11 years serving Seton Catholic Prep in Chandler both teaching Theology and serving as Campus Minister. She has always felt a strong call to walk with young people through their years of discerning who they are and where they belong in this world. Most importantly she hopes they will come to know the truth that they are loved and have a unique, unrepeatable, and important role to play. She loves a good adventure, great coffee, exploring her local city, and absolutely loves to style anything: decor, clothes, makeup!

Brooke Verville
Assistant Rector
I am originally from Salem, Oregon and attended the University of Oregon. In the five years between undergrad and law school, I worked as a CPA at accounting firms located in the Bay Area. About halfway through my time as an accountant, I felt called to pursue a different career, leading me to Notre Dame Law School. I am incredibly blessed to go to such a beautiful school, and my favorite part of law school is being a member of the Notre Dame Exoneration Justice Clinic. In my free time I love to embroider, go to the drive-in, and be outside on campus any time that the sun is out. The way to my heart is showing me pictures of your pets or a Cafe J run!

Assistant Rector
Hi everyone! My name is Angela Meissner, and I’m so excited to serve as an Assistant Rector in Badin Hall this year. I grew up in New York City and just graduated from Syracuse University this past spring with a degree in Public Relations. I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Management at Mendoza.
I’m a big endurance runner and love running half and full marathons and taking on new challenges. I also enjoy working out and spending time outdoors.

I have an identical twin sister who is my best friend and other half! Because I grew up sharing a room with her, I don’t love alone time or silence, so my door is always open. I can’t wait to get to know all of you. :)

I am originally from Wauconda, Illinois (about an hour north of Chicago) and I am studying Mechanical Engineering. On campus I am involved in Design for America as a Co-President and Pasquerilla East Musical Company on the production side of things (typically focusing on all things related to the set). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, hammocking on Bond Quad, reading, crocheting, and playing cards. I am looking forward to an awesome year!

Hi, everyone, my name is Adeline! I'm a proud Badin bullfrog, and approaching a personal record for time lived in one home... in Badin Hall! Right now I live in St Petersburg, FL outside of school, but my favorite place we've been was Cornwall, England. I'm majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Theology through the Reilly Program, and am also a member of Air Force ROTC and a minister at the Basilica. I love to talk to family and friends in my free time, or spend it reading books, climbing, or exploring outside! I am soooo excited to serve you all as an RA - please come and chat anytime!

Hi, bullfrogs! My name is Juliana, and I'm an English, Film, and Theology triple-major from Walkersville, Maryland. I'm so excited to serve as an RA this year, especially for my favorite froggy community! (Fun fact: Badin was my dream dorm before I even knew I was accepted at ND!)
Throughout the week, you can catch me playing lacrosse (I'm a club goalie!), playing piano for hall Masses, writing, painting, sketching, or designing for on-campus groups like The Shirt Committee, ND Right to Life, the FTT Department, Student Union Board, or even for the Badin merch commission! I can't wait to meet everyone, so stop by my room any time! Go Irish!!
anna schillinger

Hey y’all! My name is Anna Schillinger, and I’m originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I’m studying electrical engineering with minors in energy studies and engineering corporate practice. On campus, I’m involved with Engineering Without Borders, SWE, and ultimate frisbee. I love playing sports, writing letters, and going to the beach whenever I get the chance. A fun fact about me is that at every single Notre Dame dance I go to, I’m always hoping they’ll play Cotton-Eye Joe. I’m so excited to be part of the Badin Hall staff this year, and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get to know you all!
